While our Terms currently grant us the right to use uploaded content for purposes such as AI training, we want to clarify that SoundCloud has never used any artist content to train AI models, nor do we develop AI tools or allow third parties to scrape or use SoundCloud-hosted content for AI training purposes. In fact, we’ve implemented a “no AI” tag across our site to reinforce that restriction. At this time, there is no opt-out mechanism available. However, if we were to consider using content in this way in the future, we recognize the importance of transparency and user choice, and would carefully evaluate how best to give users control, including the possibility of an opt-out.
