It is remarkable what sort of news the BBC do not wish to cover. I don’t watch their television so must take that on trust, but looking at the BBC news site, this is not even touched upon. Hunger strikes in NI, and more recent ones, yes, but this no. I do wonder who the corporation represents - it certainly is not most of the UK.

Are there any software projects that people would be willing to pay a small weekly or monthly contribution to support me while I develop it? I need a way to feed my family, and I don't like asking for handouts.

Please respond with ideas of things you'd like to see exist, that you'd maybe be willing to contribute an ongoing nonzero amount towards, and boost for reach. If you don't have idea of your own, that's fine. Boosting will still help!

It took an awfully long time…

Our so called ‘investigative press’ are only just catching up with the full extent of UKIP/Reform ties with Russia. It is a great shame that they have been asleep for the last 5 years or more. I expect this to run and run, one never knows, the labels #antisemite, #homophobic, #bigot, #islamophobic and #traitor might stick to #Farage and #Reform. If only…

Fairness & Accuracy In Reporting

FAIR looked at 15 different news outlets’ initial coverage of the murders of six Palestinian journalists. We found that they overwhelmingly centered Israel’s narrative, attempted to delegitimize pro-Palestinian sources, and failed to contextualize the killings within the larger context of the genocide.
