Tidied up my lunchbox node a little. I have a battery connector that pokes through the lid hole.

I've got the solar panel hooked up to it now (not shown), and remote admin is working, so after endurance testing it'll be ready for deployment somewhere.

The same lunchbox with the lid on. A small power connector pokes through a hole in the lid.

A lunchbox containing lithium cells from a laptop battery, a little meshtastic controller, and an antenna.

It looks like it's built mostly from e-waste because it is.

Hi Narrm Melbourne folks!

The next Glen Eira Repair Cafe¹ (GERC) is happening on Saturday 20th September.

We're seeking volunteers particularly with sewing skills (although all are welcome). If this sounds like you, and you're happy to spend an afternoon helping people repair their items then please get in touch!

More information on what to expect can be found on our bookings page: https://events.humanitix.com/caulfield-south-community-house-repair-cafe-sept-2025

GERC is a non-profit, volunteer-run group.

Retoots welcome!

Many, many thanks in advance! ♥
