Wow! That was one of the annoying things about using a #Pebble -- both your watch *and* your phone vibrated for notifications. Will this get me back onto the Pebble??

No matter the benefits, it seems extremely wasteful to build single-use electronics that stop working solely due to a depleted battery.
What exactly does recycling entail? How much of it is actually reused, and in what form?
Also, maybe it doesn't have an auto-renewing subscription, but having to pay US$99 every two years for a new one because the battery is flat sure sounds a lot like a subscription. It works out to a bit over $4 a month.
