The romantic ruins of Dunskey Castle, perch on cliffs looking over the North Channel to Ireland. Built in the 14th C by the Adairs, the castle was burnt in 1489 by Cutter McCulloch of Myrton and rebuilt in 1510.

I received this book today from the Author, Ros Ollin, and I have read it in one sitting.
It is a book of poems inspired by the tragic story of Elspeth McEwan, who was the last woman burned in Galloway as a witch.
The poems are powerful and moving, and I thoroughly recommend folk getting their hands on a copy.
