Oh hey, the year is drawing to an end and projects are actually getting finished here! Here's this year's blackwork stitch along from The Steady Thread finished. I had a lot of fun doing this. 2026's stitch along just got announced as well, I'm looking forward to that.

Embroidery in blackwork style (though not in black). A circle made up of 48 smaller circles surrounded by a blue and green floral border. Each small circle has a different geometric fill, and they're all done in a different colour. In the very centre is another floral border surrounding the year (2025) and my initials (MvS)

Une série de 90 cercles est brodée sur une toile Aïda couleur crème. Les cercles sont remplis de motifs géométriques différents et réalisés dans un dégradé de teintes allant du jaune au rouge en passant par l’orange foncé, le rose, le violet, le bleu et le vert.

Une série de 62 cercles est brodée sur une toile Aïda couleur crème (10 par rangée et 2 sue le dernier rang). Les cercles sont remplis de motifs géométriques différents et réalisés dans un dégradé de teintes allant du jaune au rouge en passant par l’orange foncé, le rose, le violet et le bleu.

@MakersHour Hi! Work has been slow this week, so I've been doing lots of crafting: working on my quilt, knitting, and some embroidery for my fibre art challenge. The prompt was 'vintage' and i stitched this vintage pattern i found at the thrift store (though I modified it a bit too for my size constraints, it was originally meant for a lamp shade).
