It's difficult sometimes on the old Fediverse finding all of the amazing people that reside here, which is why it's so important to shout about those who enrich the sacred timeline. One such person for me is the indomitable (full disclosure I don't really know what that word means) @astronomerritt who is AMAZING.

If you want JOY and INTERESTING things and HILARIOUS stuff and also OCCASIONAL FURY but like in a good way, then I cannot recommend them enough.

Particularly good if you happen to be neurodivergent or interested in the plight of the NDs - I know there's barely any of them neuro's here, it's just all us cool normal people who like to make small talk like hello how are you for example.

However for my money I think Steph is tremendous and am glad to share a community with them, and they make my life and therefore THE ENTIRE WORLD much better.

Or not, I'm not your mum. X

Saturday has finally arrived, after slowly surfacing from under the duvet!

A somewhat cloudy & overcast day here in deepest, darkest Yorkshire, but the sun is trying to fight thru!
There's rumours that we might hit 16ºC later.

Feeling mildly sorry for myself as the flu jab has kicked in & I'm feeling a little under the weather with it - but nowhere near as bad as when I have the Covid jab so there's that!

No plans for today, so we'll see where the day takes us.

Friday blew in like the Wicked Witch of the West, howling around the rooftops in the early hours & dumping ½ the Irish Sea on us. This is before Storm Amy gets her grotties on us!

This morning has been a bit of a disaster for various reasons which I won't bore you with. It's not done yet though - I have to chase down the folks who supplied the over ox for my MiL's electricity meter in about an hour as they reckon they haven't been paid!!! 🙄🤦‍♂️ Tough you scammers, I have proof it got paid!!
And those folk in the States thought they had problems with angry squirrels!!!!!
