"In the survey [of 1,207 U.S. likely voters], 63 percent of Americans said they support Medicare for All, even knowing that it “would eliminate most private insurance plans and replace premiums with higher taxes.”"

When businesses no longer have to provide or worry about providing health insurance for their employees, and employees no longer fear they have to be tied to their jobs for health insurance, it would unleash a tidal wave of entrepreneurial activity and innovation in the USA.

Medicare-for-All is a pro-growth, pro-business, health care policy.

lf we provided everyone with their basic needs
regardless of work status, people wouldn't stop
working, They would iust start working for the things
they care about and find meaningful in their own
right, and not just for the pay which they will no
longer need to survive.

srallest-feeblest-boggart:

btw, studies show we should all be working less. it's
better for us and for the environment. like seriously,
we're at a unique point in history where humanity
would benefit from less labor, there's already more
than enough to go around-we iust let society refuse
to distribute it

The #EU just leapfrogged #China by #GDP.

We also have:
🗳️ Democracy & Fundamental Rights
💼 Strong #SocialRights and reasonable working hours
🧑‍⚕️ #UniversalHealthCare
🌿 Strongest environmental protection in the world.

🇪🇺 gets a lot of stick, but we compete with the world's biggest economies while protecting our people and the #environment, we should celebrate that more.

World of Statistics @stats_feed
The EU just passed China on GDP.
