The idea is to create a community of practice that shares everything and connects with related groups like Project Kamp etc, so that more people get motivated to do similar projects. And maybe, on the way, create new open source/open hardware for "smart" houses that truly deserve the name 😊 Working title ideas: #Fedihouse #OpenHouse feel free to suggest better names!

Asking as an over 70 yo woman staring down the barrel of homelessness, in Oregon.

My profile post kind of explains it:
I moved out here in 2018 after signing up for senior housing in 2015 for a place on the Oregon coast. When my name came to the top of the list for that complex in 2018, I gave notice at my own wait listed senior place in wait listed Asheville.

Then the Oregon place just gave that apartment to a local. No reason was ever given for that.
