This is the reality in Sudan: deliberate daily killings Sudanese by the (RSF)

How can the world consciously overlook the sight of a child being executed publicly in his mother’s arms, on camera? How are u able to carry on with your day normally in the face of these scenes?

Many things are occurring that would have turned the world upside down if we existed in a more just galaxy, but justice is clearly not to be found on Earth.

But for God's sake, how is this happening when they can truly get the gold with complete ease? I am serious about this: those who are being eliminated are defenseless children, women, and elderly people. Are these the ones preventing them from getting Sudan's gold?

Al Jazeera | HRL’s report showed images containing clusters of objects and ground discolouration that it believes to be evidence of human bodies. The HRL appears to back up other accounts from aid groups that reported chaotic scenes on the ground, including killings, arrests and attacks on hospitals.

All Eyes on Sudan

Sudan is facing the world’s largest humanitarian and displacement crisis and yet, the world looks away.

More than 12 million people have been displaced since war broke out in April 2023 between the army of Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and the RSF militia led by Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo. Over 150,000 people have been killed.

Now, the city of #Al-Fasher has fallen to the #RSF. Civilians are being targeted, hospitals looted, and entire neighbourhoods destroyed. Half of those displaced are children.

But Sudan’s collapse is not an isolated tragedy; it's the result of decades of colonial destabilisation, exploitation, and the continous influence of other states such as #Egypt, #Russia, #China, The United Arab Emirates and #SaudiArabia. The latter directly receiving weaponry from European states such as #UK, #France and #Germany, as well as the #USA.

The same system that is selling weapons in already war-torn areas, is then sending more weapons to build a border regime to prevent people fleeing from this violence.

We need to stop this madness of endless militarisation. Politics for people, not for profit, and human rights for all.

The situation in Sudan is (this is not limited to what I will mention only"):

1. The RSF sniped a Sudanese young man in the leg, and then ran over his body with a jeep.

2. Blackmailing a mother with her three children in her lap, and sniping people around her to terrorize her.

3. Execution of a mother and her two children, and hanging their bodies on a tree in the Sudanese desert.

4. Starving women, the elderly, and children.

5. Burning young men.

#Sudan #paramilitary forces killed hundreds including patients in a hospital after they seized #elFasher city in western #Darfur over the weekend, acc/to the #UN, displaced residents & aid workers, who described harrowing details of #atrocities.

WHO dir gen Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said 460 patients & companions were reportedly killed at Saudi Maternity Hospital in el-Fasher. He said the WHO was “appalled & deeply shocked” by the reports.

Both Amena and Tajal-Rahman said that #RSF fighters tortured & beat the detainees & shot at least 4 people Monday who later died of wounds. They also sexually assaulted women & girls, they said.

Giulia Chiopris, a pediatrician at a hospital run by the Doctors Without Borders medical group in Tawila, said they received many patients since Oct 18, suffering from injuries related to bombing or gunshots.

Witnesses told the AP that #RSF fighters—on foot, riding on camels, or in vehicles—went from house to house, beating & shooting people, including women & children. Many died of gunshot wounds in the streets, some while trying to flee to safety, witnesses said.

“It was a like a killing field,” Tajal-Rahman, a man in his 50s, said over the phone from the outskirts of Tawila. “Bodies everywhere & people bleeding & no one to help them.”

The #UN migration agency said about 35,000 people have fled #elFasher, mostly to rural areas around it, since Sunday.

UN #refugee agency official Jacqueline Wilma Parlevliet said that the new arrivals told stories of widespread ethnic & politically motivated killings, including reports of people with disabilities shot dead because they were unable to flee, & others shot as they tried to escape.
