Last images of the morning from both telescopes. Aimed them to the #planet #Jupiter. This first image is by the Odyssey Pro and the second from the s50. Though you can see Jupiter clearly on the first image none of the moons are visible. In thebs50 image Jupiter is to bright, but you can clearly see its moons #Ganymede (to the left) and #Callisto (to the right). #unistellar #odyssey pro #space #astronomy #amateur #seestar #S50

The planet Jupiter as seen by the s50. It has the shortest day in the Solar System: it spins so fast that one day on Jupiter lasts less than 10 hours! 💨

The planet Jupiter as seen by the Odyssey Pro. The largest planet, a gas giant with colorful swirling clouds and the massive, centuries-old storm known as the Great Red Spot. It has no solid surface.

The dog days of August are officially here.

The lower right corner shows Sirius, the dog star in morning twilight. That signifies the start of the dog days.

Jupiter and Venus are left of center. Orion is upper right quadrant.

Sirius in morning twilight (lower right) signifies the arrival of the dog days of August.

Venus and Jupiter left of center...are moving further apart from each other. Venus gets lower, and Jupiter higher every morning.

Orion is upper right quadrant.

The higher clouds are catching the first pink of dawn, and that color also shows in the sky along the very bottom of the frame.
