@arstechnica After reading this article I wonder why it is increasing? Is it possible the bad economy and high inflation in last years are forcing people to find additional sources for food? Or is it the reduction in food stamps?
I cannot imagine people just discovered to pick up mushrooms in the forest and eat it. Usually such people are very "outdoory" and learn about the dangers and what is safe to eat. Not so much valid for hungry people without experience....
