We've just finished moving Bluefin and Aurora to a shared OCI container instead of using RPM packages for all of it, now you can do crazy stuff like Ubuntu-based Bluefin with the Bootcrew images if you want to 馃槣 Who would've though that not relying on packages would be a good idea, huh!

I don鈥檛 know what to think of bootc quite yet.
On one hand I like the idea of an immutable OS relying on a technology I鈥檓 familiar with.
On the other, most bootc images I鈥檝e found seem to bundle a lot of extras that are not always trivial to remove.
I would want my OS image to be minimal and as close to upstream as possible, and then I want to install apps by myself.
