I regularly post fundraisers for trans folks (in the US) that need to get away from the states that have grown extremely anti-trans in their legislations and also in general societal environments. Some of the folks who need to evade their states are very young as well and would need critical assistance.
I have also included some fundraisers of people from gaza fleeing the genocide.

Every now and then I like to read a bit in the CS:APP book (Computer Systems: A Programmer’s Perspective by Bryant and O’Halloran, https://csapp.cs.cmu.edu/) on #systems_programming and it really is a fantastic and very clear book. But since the latest edition is from 2015, I wonder if there are more up to date books nowadays covering a similar range of topics, maybe even based on #Rust rather than #C ?

Question to the lovely folks here that write Fanfictions/Original Work and are on AO3.
From what I always understood AO3 is just a place for Fanfiction, is this assessment correct?
And if so what do you do with your original works you want to share?
Where do you put that?
In general do you upload it to your own site?
And if so which host do you use?
Do to the state of our current global political... Wreckage... I would prefer a non American, non Russian provider and from that probably tiny pool of remaining sides I would appreciate if they don't treat LGBTQIA+ as an infection or worse or support such entities that do.
I still try to get rid of much Google and Others like them as I can...
Note: I am not a tech person so my understanding of self hosting is very limited and please don't ask about me about coding. That's wasteland survival for me... 😅
