I can’t complain about building a GENERIC kernel in 79 seconds.

#Ampere #ARM64

[Update: This made to the loader devs and it’s a confirmed bug on FreeBSD/Arm’s console handling. Thanks for all the help!]

#FreeBSD how do I debug single-user mode not booting into a shell (tried init_shell=/bin/sh and csh so far)? boot -vs doesn’t show much.

Multi-user boot is fine.

This is on #Ampere #Altra / ARM.

#FreeBSD on #Ampere folks.

Do you how to get past “No valid device tree blob found!” which reportedly can be ignored, but it doesn’t continue.
