Unmissverständlich Grenzen aufzeigen: Merz Rassismus ist falsch und muss aufhören
Dabei die Arme offen halten als Einladung für Zusammenhalt: Merz keinen Faschismus unterstellen, aber doch deutlich machen, dass er sich fahrlässig den Worten der Faschisten bedient.
Die Rede der #OmasGegenRechts hat mich heute ganz besonders bewegt.
Just this week we had more than a million [1] people joining protests all over Germany against the Right in many big and small cities, down to villages where only several hundreds of people live. People are good. People know what's good. People can ignore clickbait and come together to protest. Even if the clickbait driven media does everything it can to ignore these protests. #WeAreMore#NoNazis (the #Munich protest had 300000+ participants on Saturday, Feb 8 2025)
Go on, just click the #OmasGegenRechts hashtag. Subscribe to it. You don’t need to be able to understand German. Most posts are full of pictures, showing you how people in Germany are taking the streets to show their support for democracy and their resistance against the (far-)right.
In Germany there is a growing movement called #OmasGegenRechts - Grannies against the Right. They organise, participate in demonstrations. Without ego, focusing on doing the right thing based on the history they very well know. I salute you.
