Boosting this as a reminder for every single day that we read about #asylumseekers #refugees. #Australia has an abysmal record and needs to lift its game and expedite decidions and visas so these desperate people have a chance to rebuild their lives.

On arrival at camps like Auschwitz, Dachau, and Flossenburg, prisoners were forced to surrender all their belongings, including clothing, jewelry, money, watches, and even personal items like glasses and shoes.
