The updated FAIR Check from NFDI4Culture makes it easier to assess how Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable your data are.
The new version is more intuitive and interactive, featuring a FAIRness wheel, progress bars, info boxes and a save function.
Originally designed for the humanities, it’s useful far beyond that community.

At the ELIXIR BioHackathon, NFDI4Chem joined 40+ experts testing mzTab-M with real datasets. 20 successful tool-to-tool exchanges strengthened interoperability and revealed where standards must evolve. A solid step toward FAIR, reproducible MS workflows. 🔬📄

Just did some queries using NCBI's `dataset` utility program.
It only worked 1 time in a dozen or so trials.
If NCBI is getting instable, for whatever reason, is there an EU alternative?
The commands were like
`datasets download genome accession {params.accession} --include genome`
So, even if there is a mirror, software support is another issue to solve ...

As an outcome, we now have a blueprint of the overall architecture and many ideas how to flesh it out in future work of the working group overall architecture of NFDI #section-infra.
