Just submitted Zeitgeist v1 to the App Store! I've been using it daily for over three weeks and absolutely love it. #BuildInPublic

🚩 Still only inching forward a tiny bit with DR for @thebluesocial. Feels like 30 would be a milestone on this long road #buildinpublic

Do you keep your eye on your DR like I do?

I've categorized 80k Bluesky starter packs into 18 categories, all browsable, and the packs and account listed in them can be searched and filtered. But it definitely feels like starter pack usage has blown over. #buildinpublic

Check it out if you haven't https://theblue.social/starter-packs

I'm implementing weekly email reports and I was looking at using Vue in the backend to render charts and possibly reuse some of the frontend templates. Then it hit me, why must the email be graphical?

Reframing it, made it text-only and it's so much simpler. #buildinpublic

Also really useful for us bootstrappers. We don't need to answer to anyone else except our paying customers. We should embrace this power. #buildinpublic

I hate it when people keep moving the goalposts. But when it comes to problem solving, it's a superpower.

I’m starting with the most basic thing: a screen to type some text that I want to turn into audio.

Provisional name of the app: Xarra (an informal Catalan variant of xarrar, meaning “to chat”).

One screen down, many more to go. #BuildInPublic

Screenshot of an iOS app prototype titled “Xarra.” The screen shows a form with two labeled fields: “Title” with the text “Think Different,” and “Content” with a paragraph from Apple’s famous “Here’s to the crazy ones” ad. At the bottom, there’s a large orange “Continue” button with a play icon.

For the next screen, I want to borrow some inspiration from Spotify’s lyrics view.

I love how it makes reading along with audio feel effortless and dynamic.

I’m planning something similar for my app: the text being read will be highlighted in real-time. Playback controls will sit at the bottom (play, pause, skip, progress slider, etc.).

Two selected lines are shown with black backgrounds and blue text. The top of the screen says “Select lyrics – 2 lines selected.” A white “Continue” button is visible at the bottom.

Transparency disclaimer:
My spare time is very limited, so I’ll lean on some vibe-coding tools I’ve been wanting to try for a while, like Cursor and Swift Assist, and see what they’re capable of.

What do you all think? Worth building?

There’s an app idea I’ve had for a while, and @revenuecat’s #Shipaton has finally given me the push to give it a go. I’m sharing the idea here. If even one person tells me it’s not completely terrible, I’ll try to ship an MVP before the end of September and share the full journey here. #BuildInPublic

Hello Liquid Glass. I hope this will become your favorite Apple Music app in near future. Build with SwiftUI (for the haters).

It's still WIP and I hope I can release it with macOS26. ✌🏽
