I’m stepping back from LinkedIn. I will leave a profile up, with this caveat pinned - but I will stop all notifications, etc. If you want to message me, I suggest using michael@lawrie.work [open up the spam-gates!] The site has gone from a fairly benign job-site to a social media enterprise that actively encourages, promotes and rewards open racism, gender & sexuality hate, billionaire worship, and outright worker abuse. I didn't like it when it was a battle of the influencers for more and more likes; I don't like it now that it's become a full-on Nazi bar. A Metropolitan Police map of London boroughs, each with hues of blue that represent the extent of sexual offences per 1,000 people. The darker the blue, the higher the incidence of offence. The borough of Westminster stands out as significantly darker blue than the light turquoise green-blues around it.
