Thanks to @glyph 's initiative, I got the final push that I needed to set up a donation to PSF. I even made it an annual recurring thing and also signed up as a contributing member (which I believe I am).
Python has been instrumental in shaping my career, so I should have done this sooner.

Seit 2012 bin ich Fellow der Python Software Foundation, worauf ich als Nicht-Entwickler immer mächtig stolz war.
Schon lange bin ich nur noch passives Mitglied, dafür aber seit heute noch stolzer.

I’d also be glad to collaborate again with @simon the author of Django and someone who brings a balanced perspective on AI.
The choice is yours, but I truly valued the time I spent with them.
I hope to see people on the PSF Board who are dedicated to the community and who connect many others together.

🐍 The PSF has paused our Grants Program
｢ This is a necessary step to protect both the future of the program and the short- and long-term sustainability of the PSF ｣
If you haven’t yet and want to attend #PyConUS in Pittsburgh in a week and a half there’s still time. Registration is still open, there are still hotel rooms (though not through the conference.) The conference is a ton of fun with amazing people and great talks.
