💸 Money is NOT Wealth.

For generations, we chased money, sacrificing health and peace—yet still felt empty. Why? Numbers cannot nourish a soul.

True abundance isn't measured by your bank balance. It's measured by:

* The safety in your nervous system
* The softness in your breath
* The peace in your chest
* The love that flows without fear

Money is kind; it's a mirror showing your inner state. When you overflow inside, life mirrors it outside. When you live in lack, even millions feel like crumbs.

The shift: When the heart remembers "I am enough," we stop chasing money and start becoming abundance.

As I wrote earlier today: Love turns currency into connection. That is the highest return on investment.

Abundance is a frequency we embody, not something we pursue. When gratitude and love transform your internal state, money becomes a river instead of a cage. A flow, not a chase.

May we all say with a full heart: I am enough. I AM abundance. 🌱✨

"Love turns money into connection." That line is everything. 💜

Some people talk about "getting" rich, but the biggest secret is this: You never have to wait for money to prove you are worthy. That worth is already finished.

Money is just a friendly mirror. If you feel peaceful, grateful, and complete inside, money shows you completeness outside.

You don't earn the flow; you simply remember it from a place of quiet knowing.

The strongest magnet you have is not a bank account—it’s the feeling of already having enough. That peaceful, open feeling starts right in your body. 🤍

Arigato, money, for teaching us that true wealth begins as a simple feeling of safety. 🌿

Inspired reflection after reading Ken Honda's Happy Money (book).

The world is becoming less colourful. Across #Brazil and much of the #tropics, #butterflies are fading as #forests give way to industrial #plantations. Once vibrant with flashes of red, blue and gold, their wings are now turning brown and grey. New research shows that colourful #species struggle to survive in eucalyptus plantations where the #light is harsh, the #air is dry and the forest floor is stripped bare. The result is an eerie quietness.

As forests are cut down butterflies are losing their colours; photo of a butterfly radiant blue in the bottom, brown on top

#Scientists describe a sense of emptiness where the rich texture of life has drained away.

Colour in #butterflies is not decoration. It evolved over millions of years as a language of #survival helping them attract mates, evade predators and blend into complex forest backdrops. In diverse #ecosystems colour signals #abundance and #complexity. In degraded #landscapes drabness becomes an advantage. The most colourful species are often the first to disappear when native #vegetation is lost,

Man, the shitty AI illustrations on that Niskanen Center piece just really do say everything about it you need to know. I’m not holding my breath, but it sure would be nice if people came to recognize the shoddiness of effort bound up in that move as the signature of a parallel shoddiness of thought.

You wouldn’t think it was something people would need to be reminded of, maybe, but in discussions of so-called #abundance I’m finding the handy mnemonic MORE helpful: MORE is always Maintained On Resource Extraction.

"Apart from their endorsement of Karl Marx’s fettering thesis near the end of the book, Abundance is clearly not a socialist text. It is a manifesto for a broad tent of liberals and centrists, aimed in part at what the authors call “the pathologies of the modern left.” We share concern about these pathologies, but argue the solution is not a retreat from the Left — it is, if anything, a more full-throated socialist politics. Here we can reassert some of those fundamental socialist arguments.

First, socialists understand that the main barrier to abundance is not bottlenecks or the Groups, but capitalism. “Supply-side liberalism” can sometimes rely on a naive neoclassical assumption: supply goes up, price goes down, and voilà — abundance! But this theory ignores the fact that there are very powerful class forces with a vested interest in maintaining artificial scarcity of key goods to maintain their profits. Landlords and real estate developers, for example, do not have an interest in an “abundance” of housing because it would collapse the price of the commodity they wish to sell for a profit. The history of energy is likewise a history of cartels — from the Seven Sisters to OPEC — whose prime goal is withholding supply to maintain prices, rents, and profits for owners. And this only mentions class interests in the sectors covered by Klein and Thompson, to say nothing of the larger political economy that, as Joe Weisenthal notes, “has too much riding on a perpetual rise in the value of financial assets.”"
