Society: Sunlit Valley is basically #StardewValley in #Minecraft. There is a way, in the config files, to turn off the fishing minigame. The quest book specifically tells you how to do it in the introduction.
Bless you, Chakyl, Nitbe, unnecessary, and the rest of the Sunlit Valley team, both for providing the option, and for documenting it so clearly. I am loving this modpack from the start just for its quest book.
