Working on the web, especially in trust and safety work, can really sour you, you're just faced with the absolute worst stuff day in day out and sometimes I get to the point of just hating the internet, like it's a lose lose proposition of endless, pointless battles against spam, propaganda, hate and worse.
Then I see https://thenicestplace.net/ and I'm reminded why the web is so flippin special and why I work to keep it safe and accessible.
