Critical Mass is celebrating 30yrs in Melbourne tomorrow.
Join us at the State Library at 5:30 on Friday 28th November.
"The biggest rides of the year are always held each November to celebrate the birthday of the first ride in Melbourne. These rides are typically five to ten times larger than a normal Critical Mass in Melbourne. "
You can read about some of the history of Critical Mass Melbourne on Wikipedia. We don't try to ride on CityLink or the Burnley Tunnel these days. It's much more of a slow and relaxed ride through some inner city streets. A rolling party to celebrate and advocate for better bicycle infrastructure.

Hey friends, especially #Naarm #Melbourne friends:
After years of sorting through what feels like an endless amount of possessions and grief, I'm almost at the stage where I can put dad's western suburbs house on the market.
The gotcha is, I've no experience with real estate sales at all. There are a million real estate agents out there, and while they all seem nice, I've no idea how to sort the good from the bad. There's lots of advice out there, but it all seems to be written by the agents themselves.
Any advice (including recommendations) on picking an agent is appreciated.

Tidied up my lunchbox node a little. I have a battery connector that pokes through the lid hole.
I've got the solar panel hooked up to it now (not shown), and remote admin is working, so after endurance testing it'll be ready for deployment somewhere.
Have you read @karenhao book #EmpireOfAI, chronicling the rise of Sam Altman and #OpenAI?
Want to?
It's fantastic - meticulously researched, detailed and an incredible character analysis of one of the most influential people and companies of our time.
My favourite chapter is the last one - what would it take for the Empire of AI to fall?
In #Melbourne#Naarm?
Come see Karen in conversation with @Kobotic presented by #ReadingsBooks, this Friday night at #RMIT.
Entry is free, tix going fast though.
Beautiful day in #naarm for the #Gaza demonstration. #FreeFreePalestine

Anyway, the next Glen Eira Repair Cafe is on the 16th August, at Caulfield South Community House. We're always looking for more people to help with repairs, and for people who need things to be repaired:
