They can formally request an emergency European Council meeting under Art. 15(3) TEU, which empowers the President to convene extraordinary sessions in cases demanding urgent collective EU action: the IPC has officially declared a worst-case scenario of famine unfolding in Gaza.

In response to unprecedented urban starvation since WWII, declared today by the IPC as a ‘worst-case scenario of famine unfolding in Gaza’ -- so minutely engineered, controlled, and preventable, the EC is proposing only a partial suspension of Israel’s participation in Horizon Europe, limited to the EIC Accelerator [i.e. only projects with “potential dual-use applications, such as in cybersecurity, drones, and AI”].

It's important that we do something against what only can be described as torture!
To go through we need atleast one more country to pass the threshold and another ~450k ~262k votes in total, so keep signing! Share it with everyone, your friends, parents, grantparents, neighbors even with your cat/dog/pet lizard!!!!!! We need to get this through to protect LGBTQ+ folks and espc youth in the EU!
Update: 7/7 required countries passed the threshold!! Thanks to #slovenia passing it's required amount, all that is left is to get the 1000k total votes!!
