Dear #macos and #windows #musician (s) and #musicproducer (s),
what #plugin #vendor (s) would you need natively on #linux in order to be able to consider moving your music production to #linuxaudio?
I have already asked the following vendors for support:
https://linuxaudio.dev/linux-support-request-tracking
I am interested to hear if, from your perspective, there are vendors missing on the list.
Thank you in advance for your help! 🙌

TIL the MacOS 7.5 control panel said "Daylight Savings Time" instead of the correct but less common "Daylight Saving Time." (Though you don't need to capitalize it.) Via the amazing tour de control panels, with emulation, from the incomparable @mwichary: https://aresluna.org/frame-of-preference/

Apple's first desktop operating system was Tahoe. Like any first version, it had a lot of issues. Users and critics flooded the web with negative reviews. While mostly stable under the hood, the outer shell — the visual user interface — was jarringly bad. Upgraded macOS and they turned on their terrible window tiling feature without asking. I started getting lots of windows expanding themselves while simply trying to drag them around. Found that you can turn all that junk off in System Settings. I sure did! I've used keyboard-based SizeUp for years and don't want this badly implemented tiling. #Apple #macOS
OK, techies, what's the best way to migrate a MacOS Time Machine backup to a new drive? I outgrew my old drive (8TB) and want to move the backup history to my new drive (24TB).
