My first time patching an inner tube. This is from my trailer rather than my bike itself. It was a small pinhole that leaked slowly. Hopefully I didn't damage it while getting the wheel reassembled; especially as I had to do it twice since I put the tire on the wrong way around the first time.

Handlebar ends completely thrashed. Might be able to get away with repositioning everything and putting caps on there. I need to get a pump for the fork and suspension. #BikeRepair #BikeTooter

Tires... tough to say. Lots of cracks. Not much wear. No date codes I could find. Holds air, but... liner is good though, surprise! Not sure how to read this tube date code. #BikeTooter #BikeRepair
Trying to figure out a new seat post for a bicycle. 27.2mm seatpost is too small... 30.8mm is too large. Just barely.
So, that leaves... 30.4? 30? 28.6?
(also... 350mm and 450mm seat posts are way too long... need a shorter seatpost).
Maybe time to invest in a caliper with finer scale measurements... 🤪

bike's thumb shifter is not working.
I am seriously not mechanically inclined, probably because I can't visualize parts and fitment in my head along with congenitally poor motor control, but I guess this will be the start of my DIY bike repair career because I don't have a choice.
it's a Shimano Alfine SL-S500 shifter, bike was sat in storage for 6 years or so, brakes weren't seized at all as a point of reference. the upshift lever has no resistance, the downshift lever doesn't wanna move, bike is stuck in the easiest gear. it's an 8-speed hub transmission if that matters.
