D'ailleurs, le 6 octobre ça a fait 1 an que Salto est arrivé à la maison ❣ c'est notre toute toute première photo de lui, il venait de rentrer dans la "pinomobile", rebaptisé pour l'occasion "saltomobile".
Il venait de passer des semaines difficiles, je vois comme son regard a changé depuis qu'il est arrivé.
Quand j'y repense, jamais je n'aurai cru avoir un âne, encore moins deux !
Au quotidien c'est un véritable capital bonheur ❣

Salto dans un van a chevaux avec des amortisseurs jaunes. Le licol est trop grand. Il a du foin dans la bouche et les oreilles en arrière.

It's our old friends the 3 #donkeys, back in their regular field.

While very curious, they don't like nose pets like my neighbours donkey. I guess they don't meet many people out here on this quiet lane / isolated farm.

Surprise le jour de la journée mondiale des ânes ! Je dois la retenir un peu pour qu'elle ne se precipite pas trop vite vers son cadeau ! Ça nous fait rire toutes les deux : Elle a un sourire, les yeux plissés, son oreille droite dirigée vers son cadeau qu'on ne voit pas sur la photo (une 🥕). Moi je la regarde en me marrant et elle colle son oreille gauche contre mon oreille droite.

A dry stone wall is being repaired and runs at an angle from right to left with some stones on the ground still to go on. Right against the wall and same height as the wall, looking towards me, is a young donkey. It's mainly off white colour but piebald with patches of brown. The land rises behind the wall and there is a farm shed extreme left.

Beck Foot, where I'm repairing a wall, have two adult donkeys and two youngsters. One of the youngsters came over and I made the mistake of giving it a scratch on the neck.

It then followed me to the gate as I went off for lunch, turning its head to demand more scratches. I'll get nothing done now. #Donkey

A young donkey is looking away from me but leaning towards me and I'm scratching the back of it's neck. It is off white colour with brown patches.

Being near the farmhouse, the farm cat saw the donkey getting some attention and wanted in on the action.

Jealous Cat has now been all over me, even inside my pick up when I was trying to have a cup of tea. #Cat #Farming

Je suis assise à côté de Surprise allongée et je tiens sa tête dans mon bras droit pour lui faire un câlin. Elle a sa tête reposée sur mon torse. Elle s'est endormie et bave un peu sur mon pantalon bleu. Je souris.
