If you know someone who is hard of hearing and/or wears hearing aids, do them this distinct favor. When you talk to them FACE THEM! Don't talk away from them. While we can hear you, your words become far less distinct and regardless of how good our hearing aids are, they aren't like natural hearing. If I put a microphone in front of you and headphones on, then my hearing you is perfect; otherwise, your voice is competing with all the other sounds around. Please!
