I can't remember seeing season 3 of Dark Matter the first time I watched the series, but I definitely don't remember a big cliffhanger ending followed by ... cancellation 馃槶

Imagine The Expanse being cancelled after 3 seasons. Or Orphan Black. Why? Why?!?

I thought at least there were comics it was based on, and I could read those to find out how the story ends. But it seems there were only 4, telling the story of the first few episodes of season 1. Gutted.

Every time the digital voice built into my headphones says something like ...

"Battery, about 80%."

.... it reminds me of Zoie Palmer as the Android in Dark Matter. This makes me happy : )

Palmer is a brilliant performer and criminally underutilised.

EDIT: outside of Dark Matter, where they make excellent use of her range.

Melon Husk is more Alex Rook than Tony Stark. Rook really shows his true colours in s02e09. Monomaniacal sociopath.

Vera Rubin, the astronomer who pioneered research in Dark Matter (the new Vera Rubin Telescope was named after her)鈥攖hey just altered her website to remove references to her work in bringing more diverse minds into the field.

Zoie Palmer gives such a fantastic performance as the Android in Dark Matter. She absolutely masters the glassy expression and terse but diplomatic speech pattern you'd expect from a digital personality in 2015. I wonder if Siri was a source of inspiration for her portrayal?
