I found this magic lichen stick in the woods

A forked of a stick completely covered in different lychens. There’s at least two types here, one is blue green and the other is bright green and yellow with little cups on it

A different section of the stick which has mostly the blue green lichen with little white speckles on it. There’s also a smaller type with frilly fronds and a dead brown leaf is in the top right

Another section of the stick with even more types of lichen, it’s very colourful, there’s a darker and warty brownish green lichen that reminds me of a toad, as well as a purple lichen in the middle and a frilly blue green one interspersed between all the types as well as the bright green and yellow lichen with the little cups

A non-macro shot of most of the stick next to a plain rotting stick with no lichen, the lichen sticj is completely covered, no wood is showing its all just frilly patches of different coloured lychens in the shape of a stick. The ground underneath is covered in leaf litter and a few ivy leaves

I haven't posted any lichen in a while, so here are some nice blobs on a stony surface for a sunny morning to help break the drought...

what i believe must be fungi, it's got many small, frilly layers of whitish clumpy pieces. it has a dusting of brown tones, almost like it's been sprinkled with ground pepper

A jumping spider on pine bark, seen from slightly above, its robust first pair of legs partly raised. It has a shiny copper-coloured abdomen, red-brown legs banded with a more golden brown (a sort of tortoiseshell colour scheme), and a black-brown head with a broad white band along each side. The tops of the pedipalps, too, are white.

Close-up shot from above. The jumping spider's dark head is covered in short, fine, pale hairs. Its brown abdomen is covered with many small flat scale-like hairs that produce a pastel iridescence, like those "holo" highlight pressed powders that were a popular makeup trend a while back.

On lichen-covered tree bark, a squat orange-red mite hoists its prey, some small brown and white winged insect, seemingly in triumph. The mite's eyes are set very far apart; its smooth body has sparse pale spiky hairs sticking out; and its legs have a distinctly asterisk-like stance, all roughly the same length and splayed out evenly.
