Higher receptor density correlated directly with more severe cognitive symptoms and inflammation. This discovery provides a potential biomarker for diagnosis and a new therapeutic target, suggesting drugs that suppress AMPA receptor activity could be an effective treatment.

As someone who just read up on left-wing accelerationism I find the connection to capitalisms "total mobilisation" around so-called "AI" very fitting.

"AI" totalitarianism is nothing exclusive to tech bros or neoliberal VCs. It has also and regrettably captured the imagination of many on the left.
