Right now, I'm seeing a weird mix of services that still work and others that don't. I'm expecting that to degrade as the afternoon wears on unless they can bring it up again soonish.

shocking detail about their service:

"Because of legal uncertainty around Swiss government
proposals [www.tdg.ch] to introduce mass surveillance —
proposals that have been outlawed in the EU — Proton is moving
most of its physical infrastructure out of Switzerland. Lumo will
be the first product to move."

People who know Switzerland have often said that it is a false assumption that privacy is more secure there. Too bad for the services like #Quad9 that have made efforts to establish themselves there.
@quad9dns Only the fundamental non-storage of personal data from the outset and the non-storage of logs can help.
