Today is Trans Day of Remembrance. On this day we remember our trans siblings who are no longer with us due to transphobia and anti-trans violence. We honour their memory and remind ourselves to fight for the living. We will keep working until all trans people can live happy and fulfilled lives free from transphobia.

The situation is nothing short of dire. In my #IEVilnius2025 speech today, I addressed the ‘perfect storm’ facing #LGBTI people, including rising populism and a weakening political centre ground. Now is the time for fierce determination. 👇

Are you interested in trans issues and identify as trans?
Do you want to help improve health care for trans people?
Have you not received psychological therapy from a mental health professional?
If so, please consider taking part in this research project https://tinyurl.com/4sw9mryy

#Trans#Transgender#NonBinary#TransResearch#ResearchSurvey#LGBTQResearch#LGBTQI#LGBTQ#LGBTI#LGBT

Text reads:
Do you identify as trans/queer*?
We are recruiting people for an online video study of trans people's expectations of psychological therapy.
We are interested in finding out: How we can improve trans healthcare. What can help trans people feel more confident in engaging in mental health support.
Participating in this online research will involve watching two short videos about the nature of therapy and answering a series of questionnaires about your past experiences and beliefs about therapy.
We are looking for trans/queer people aged 18 years or over who have never received professional psychological support to take part in a 25-30 minute online study.

“I don’t think we as trans people, particularly trans people of colour, get spaces where we can simply look good and where it doesn’t go deeper than that… we don't get celebrated in this way that's not fetishised, exoticised, or medicalised...” Sabah with photo credit to @hollyrevellphotography

Because we don’t get seen - beautiful gender non-conforming hairy bodies like this, we don't get celebrated in this way that's not fetishised, exoticised, or medicalised, and that’s where that Gender Euphoria comes in for me – it's not talking about gender at all - it's being happy and simply feeling good.” Sabah

@jim The suggestion that #VPNs should be banned is absolutely appalling. I hope @thegreenparty will join the #LibDems in opposing this, & other aspects of the #OSA which threaten #privacy, particularly of young #LGBTI people seeking #information about #sex & #relationships, which is by no means the same thing as #pornography.

#Libdems opposition to the #onlinesafetyact is beginning to snowball

Quite rightly, they are asking for suspension and a rethink.

Where is the opposition within Labour, Jeremy Corbyn's new grouping and the UK Green Parties? I hope they can also speak out against this car crash.
