I switched our energy retailer from Amber Electric to Localvolts, and I've started to play with their pricing API. Fun stuff! I recorded a quick video showing some interesting subtleties in how pricing is different between the AEMO wholesale price, amber and localvolts.

Does anyone have a link to a reputable article, CATL press release or something about the $10/kWh Sodium-ion battery? As far as I can tell its a load of hype based on one automotive news site.
It all seems to go back to here: https://www.autoblog.com/news/china-sodium-ev-battery-shift with a claimed source of Bloomberg NEF but without a link.
Please boost for visibility, this is driving me nuts!
(Not saying it won't get that low, it probably will, but not for a few years.)
I've seen comments about sodium-ion cells getting down to US $10/KWh in the near future.
I think it is optimistic (to say the least) but if production rises I could imagine them at $25 - $35 per kwh for large systems in 3 years. This would be a game changer
If they could get them down to $10 - $15 per kwh for cells with limited cycle endurance then domestic seasonal storage is very interesting. Having a couple of MWh for £20K would be game changing for UK off-grid.
