Other than varnishing, Tracy Island is done! This has been far more fun than it had any right to be and a testament to the original design that Blue Peter came up with 33 years ago. The water wasn't included in the original but sticking with the spirit of the project is just watered down glue and toilet paper then painted with craft paints.

Recently got a decent camera! Previously taking photos with my phone, now I'm sporting a used Nikon D3200 I got on the cheap! So I thought I'd practice with taking some photos of old minis that needed to be retaken and added on here.



Here's my Mordheim Mootlanders! Missing one Thief with a broken spear, I've run this band in a LGS campaign, NEMO25, and won Ratsink! a Mordheim event at Adepticon last year with em. I'll be pulling them out again for this year's LGS campaign with a fun new Ogre I'll be painting up for 'em.

I am looking for suggestions for some indie sci-fi skirmish wargames that are rules light and require very few miniatures. No campaign, just skirmishing.

Rules light enough, and quick enough, that I could play it with an 8 year old.

This cheeky chap is one of my gaming group. He's starting up a FLGS in Macclesfield (back in my old neck of the woods), with website to come soon.

He's a great fella, I've know him since he was a wee lad, and gamed with his dad for decades. He's put loads of effort into this venture and has a wide range of stock (and a lot of knowledge).
