All the hard work and progress in public health in the last century is being wiped out by these stupid anti-vaxxers! They haven't seen the havoc and suffering brought on by such highly communicable deadly diseases, for which we have readily available prevention. The harm being done by these brain-dead antisocial elements is criminal.

“It’s crucial to understand why measles matters,” said Dr. Kate O’Brien, director of the WHO’s Department of Immunization, Vaccines and Biologicals. “Its high transmissibility means that even small drops in vaccine coverage can trigger outbreaks, like a fire alarm going off when smoke is detected first.”

That is, measles is often the first disease to pop up when vaccination rates overall drop.

The main reason my parents fled #Saigon #Vietnam was because they were hoping to go somewhere else where doctors could help to save my life. I carried that guilt for decades until healing it with my loving parents who sacrificed their lives & their own life dreams in order to try to get me the medical help that I needed as a paralyzed toddler with #polio. My parents wanted to stay in Vietnam & rebuild our lives there. They couldn't stay because there was no medical help available for me.
