Covington KY police started moments after arriving. "We were peacefully marching," a protestor said. "The police started the violence." #Protest
The protest was held in support of Imam Ayman Soliman, an Egyptian immigrant and Cincinnati Children's Hospital chaplain who U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained on July 9.
Charges range from Riot 1st Degree, Unlawful Assembly, Failure to Disperse, Obstructing a Highway, Obstructing Emergency Responders, Criminal Mischief, Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree, to Resisting Arrest.
