Ash is either at home onboard of the Ghoz'Tarc or as the AI of the Ship in space. She clearly prefers Union space because it's more dense populated and rarely attacked.

Tell us what your MC’s home is like.

Kira owns a house on a colony planet of the Union. It's a not so dense populated world so the homes tend to be on the bigger side also it was planned to to Hause her parents, her sisters and herself.
She only lives in a small portion of the house around 55 square feet with 2 rooms, a batch, toilet and a brought window front to a coastal area. The colony is known for their agriculture on our today's earth it would most like resemble Schleswig-Holstein or Denmark. The colony produces a lot of different crops for not so easily farmable worlds.

Arkham lives on Terra in London in an small apartment over a closed, cir er restaurant, she owns the Apartment and the Restaurant room but not the whole complex building.

London in the 24. Century lays directly on the northern ocean and even has sand strands and palm trees in a thick as it gets fog.

Kira Made a hm sound, more through her nose than her mouth:
"You Know what's funny like in a cynical 'Haha, I could laugh til I die' way? Survivors guilt doesn't stop... It never ends it just fades, but it stays like this vulture looming over you in the desert. You get used to it over time especially if it's comes up so swexing often."

Arkham looked erplexed:
"Thanks for letting me know in advance before I try to waste my life running from it, I guess I never pilot a shuttle again."

Ash's voice crackled through the speaker as if she tried to swallow without a throat: "I am not programmed to feel guilt, however like Captain Knox & FC Pakthi, the resent loss of Captain Johanson...
bothers... me, the uplink between the captain & myself let's me 'expirience' things differently as before. It is like reading about a color & seeing it for the 1. time.

Kira:
Home, seriously after weeks in space nothing is more compelling than just lump down on your own couch. Especially after THIS mission...

Arkham:
Same here maybe both lump down on the same couch? So it would be either the colony in which Kira has the house she inherited or Arkham's apartment in London.

Ashlei:
Drydock I guess it's as much couch as it gets for a space ship.

And yes call me lazy but seriously if you travel for several month you can't tell me your couch at home isn't where you want to be or your bed but some where else. Now multiply this with an tuna can of a space craft. I mean ~180 meters are long for a vehicle but subtract the hull and everything that isn't livable area shared by ~40 persons and you take every chance of isolation.
That's why they installed private space cargo containers.
