So it's has a lot of interplanetary flair and yes big parts of London we would know today where swallowed by the north Sea as it expanded into an real ocean. At least the new city parts are immison positive.

Ash is either at home onboard of the Ghoz'Tarc or as the AI of the Ship in space. She clearly prefers Union space because it's more dense populated and rarely attacked.

Tell us what your MC’s home is like.

Kira owns a house on a colony planet of the Union. It's a not so dense populated world so the homes tend to be on the bigger side also it was planned to to Hause her parents, her sisters and herself.
She only lives in a small portion of the house around 55 square feet with 2 rooms, a batch, toilet and a brought window front to a coastal area. The colony is known for their agriculture on our today's earth it would most like resemble Schleswig-Holstein or Denmark. The colony produces a lot of different crops for not so easily farmable worlds.

Arkham lives on Terra in London in an small apartment over a closed, cir er restaurant, she owns the Apartment and the Restaurant room but not the whole complex building.

London in the 24. Century lays directly on the northern ocean and even has sand strands and palm trees in a thick as it gets fog.

"You Know what's funny like in a cynical 'Haha, I could laugh til I die' way? Survivors guilt doesn't stop... It never ends it just fades, but it stays like this vulture looming over you in the desert. You get used to it over time especially if it's comes up so swexing often."

bothers... me, the uplink between the captain & myself let's me 'expirience' things differently as before. It is like reading about a color & seeing it for the 1. time.

Kira:
Home, seriously after weeks in space nothing is more compelling than just lump down on your own couch. Especially after THIS mission...

Arkham:
Same here maybe both lump down on the same couch? So it would be either the colony in which Kira has the house she inherited or Arkham's apartment in London.

Ashlei:
Drydock I guess it's as much couch as it gets for a space ship.

And yes call me lazy but seriously if you travel for several month you can't tell me your couch at home isn't where you want to be or your bed but some where else. Now multiply this with an tuna can of a space craft. I mean ~180 meters are long for a vehicle but subtract the hull and everything that isn't livable area shared by ~40 persons and you take every chance of isolation.
That's why they installed private space cargo containers.

Write about something your antagonist (or villain) frequently forgets.

Well Ariaene basically can't make new memories or very few that make the transition between short & long term memory.
They is unable to recall memories in the right order & has huge memory gaps of their past.
It is to them like someone took your live, cut it into pieces & shook it in a cocktail shaker. The surface memories are the clearest ones. On missions they are usual very efficient & gets stuff done in under 24 hours. The problem sets in every time they goes to sleep, rarely if they is awake.
Ariaene has an collection of written down memories. Their daily routine involves Audio instructions for the next day, mission logs & post it's on the inside of their armor, skin notes & tattoos, etc.

Kira:"Why the 21st? That's a weirdly specific ask."

Arkham:"It was 4 years ago of course I remember that but what's so interesting about the 21st?"

Ashlei:"I am not born, if we take my activation date as my date of birth I am only 7 years old including development, only one year as the AI of the Ghoz'Tarc after her... my refit."

Author_ity note I'm well aware that for U.S. citizens the 21. Birthday is a big thing. But for other countries in the world it's simply isn't that big of a deal if it isn't their same age of full blown adult rights. In Germany as an example it's 18. while motorcycle enthusiastic people have to wait till they are 25 to get their full blown "grown up motorcycle experience."

Since we are in the 24. Century in my story & Terra has changed a lot the US & its "special" customs are mostly gone as many others & yes everyone uses metric.😋

If your SC had a picture frame with slots for 3 photos, who / what would be in the pictures?

For SC's I have a faint clou let's take

XO L.Jenkins he and his husband picture one would be them on their first interaction Jenkins in a fur suit.
His future husband handing him some water on a break. Second on their first date both in sharp cut tuxedos in the midst of a weird looking bar & the third on their wedding where Jenkins husband wears a tuxedo topside combined with a Scottish kilt. What isn't on the scenes is how Jenkins got carried away by him all the way from the priest to the party location.

XO W.Troika, his wife in the middle with him probably on their wedding, two of his 4 daughters on the left and two on the right.

Security Chief S.Crosby her daughter Denise the main reason she fights for everyone else.

Do you have a favorite character in your current WIP?

Not all characters are created equal as much as it pains me to say it.
I really like Mondira, Arkham, J., Kira, Ash, Rose, Tal & it shifts regularly, but overall I can say, that main characters have more "love" from me than side characters. Ariaene is growing on me for quite some time now and even Jenkins slowly gets a shape I appreciate more than before.

Haben deine Figuren reale Vorbilder?

Beigroßzügiger Auslegung 100+. Und mindestens genauso viele Fiktive.

Ich kopiere keine Menschen aus meinem Leben 1:1 oder Personen von denen ich nur einen 2D Moment Eindruck habe. (Ein 2D Moment Eindruck wäre: XYZ schnappt dir das letzte Lieblingsessen im Laden weg & deshalb muss diese Person ein doofer Armleuchter sein).

Jede Figur die ich schreibe hat einen Mix aus echten Menschen & anderen Fiktiven Figuren als "Vorbilder"

Für Kira war es unter anderem ein US-Polizist aus den 1930 der es im Alleingang mit der Mafia aufgenommen hat, Teile meiner Familie, "Paragon, Sole Survivor, Spacer, female Commander Shepard" aus Mass Effect 1-3, Major Kira Nerrys aus Star Trek DS9 mit einem Hauch 7of9 aus Star Trek Voyager plus dem wovon ich denke dass es interessant sein könnte bzw das mich fasziniert zu entwickeln.

Ist dein aktuelles Projekt ein Stand-alone oder Teil einer Reihe?

Eigentlich ist es eher ein multi Media Franchise so wie es sich anfühlt...

Ich habe ganz klar Dinge wie Serien und Filme, Musik und Videospiele im Kopf, Comics, Mangas, Modellbausätze🤩 etc. Ich habe ein Dokument mit Hinweisen und visuellen Tipps für Designer und Propbauer (wenn auch nur Handschriftlich auf Deutsch).

Und ich habe heute Nacht 7 Stunden mit meinem mehr als dürftigen digital painting skills am Handy die Form der Ghoz'Tarc erarbeitet...

Mein Worldbuilding ist an und für sich "zu schade" für nur ein Star Ryde Buch und gelinde gesagt etwas Größenwahnsinnig. Es gibt Charactere die ihr eigenes Spotlight verdienen und viel zu viel Background Material (halt perfekt um Später mehr daraus zu machen) aber so wie ich mit der Story struggle steht das alles noch in den Sternen... (Ironisch bei einer Weltraumreisen Geschichte...)

Schreibst du Widmungen in deine Bücher?

Bisher ist es nicht mal ein Buch...
Ich habe durchaus vor Dank auszusprechen an entsprechende Personen.
Aber viel lieber möchte ich kleine Details und Eastereggs einbauen die Menschen betreffen die mir geholfen haben dass die Geschichte Vorrang geht oder etwas anderes, für mich, außergewöhnliches Getan haben.

Und nein es wird nicht so plump nur Buchtitel in eine Bibliothek zu stellen und die Schreibenden zu erwähnen... Das hebe ich mir für andere Dinge auf...😅

Woran schreibst du gerade?

Momentan ist es ausnahmsweise nicht meine SciFi story (oder nicht direkt) Star Ryde weil es mir einfach nicht aus dem Handgelenk fließt.

Stadtdessen habe ich, interessanterweise in Englisch, eine Kurzgeschichte mit 1577 Worten als Quickdraft zustande gebracht, welche eigentlich auf dem Selbsterstellten Rollenspiel-Regelwerk eines ehemaligen guten Freundes basiert, zu der Online Superhelden Welt von Worm, aber genauso gut in Cyberpunk-, Shadowrun-, StarRyde- oder besser in mein nicht wirklich ernstgemeintes Star Ryde Self Insert Romance Alternative Universe passen würde.
