Geo was exploring a new to him part of a wildland park. A beautiful egret watched us from the grassy edge. Geo naturally kept a wide distance. Whichever direction Geo walked, the egret followed 💖

In the pic, you can just see the egret in the grass, just above Geo's nose

The only time we saw the egret take off was when a guy with a telephoto lens kept walking up, getting too close 🙄

As someone was walking their three dogs, they gave Geo a 👋

And he laid down in the grass and stretched as far as he could go

I believe Geo felt seen across the park today. He is still working on being comfortable as a deaf dog in a city. 💖

In the past I would have used #Leaflet or #mapbox. #d3 would be overkill for this use case.
