Hungary, 1976. Maybe you could caption this photo, "Dance like nobody's watching", but I don't think it needs any words. It speaks for itself.

May you all live your lives with the joy and silliness with which my mother spent hers. To celebrate her birthday this year, I show you my favorite photo of her and her baby sister (19 years younger!). This was taken on mom’s 80th birthday (she lived to 93!) The pink feather boa was from my son for her birthday.
Happy Birthday, Mom!
Editing and uploading old blog posts brings up some feelings, inevitably.
Here I talk about why I posted some posts I wouldn’t put up today and also what I learned on something I lost over the past years.
If you need some joy in your day, this is my gift to you. John Batiste is a gem of a human being. He is also massively talented.
In this interview from 2023 with Chris Wallace, John talks about the limitations genres put on music. And THEN he genre hops through part of a Beethoven piece on the fly.
It’s so good. And Chris’ face is priceless. He’s almost giddy.
