This person has done some excellent work on rendering images in ASCII.
Alex Harri wrote an image-to-ASCII renderer which, unlike similar ones, doesn't treat characters like pixels but uses shape to render contrast and sharpness.
For #TextModeTuesday, some fonts from my old demoscene days, recreated in 2022 for an example project of my opensource libraries:

Of course sometimes you don't have the time to compose a good kaomoji.
You can of course hit the random button, it's the easiest way to compose with chaos.
Another tool is now available : the feelings wheel.
Open it to select a new feeling and change the face of your kaomoji.
We are complex creatures and so are kaomojis. For this reason, you can also combine two feelings on the wheel and access more than 400 combinations carefully selected by hand.
