For those of you tolerating Liquid Glass and the quite horrific Safari redesign on mobile/tablet: Kagi’s Orion browser actually seems to be an awesome full replacement. No complaints so far. Easy access to tab management, no weirdly hidden buttons or menus you need to tap multiple times to see fully. As a bonus, it has built-in filter support as well as several great Firefox and Chrome plug-ins. And Kagi’s search is optional. In fact you have more search options than in Safari. #iOS #iPadOS #macOS

Quick demo here of iPadOS 26.2 beta 3 where Split View seems to mostly behave like it used to (aside from some bugginess). Oh thank the traveler, hopefully no more tedious stoplight buttons and menus all over the place.

Started downloading an album in #AppleMusic for iPad, then my sidebar started dancing. Weird.

The first public beta of iPadOS 26 is here, and it makes Apple's tablets feel more like desktop replacements than ever... although for best results you're going to want a newer model with an Apple M series processor. #Apple#iPadOS#iPadOS26#Multitaskinghttps://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2025/07/ipados-26-preview-the-rare-software-update-that-makes-most-old-hardware-feel-new/
