At least 19,424 children have been killed in Israeli attacks over 700 days of genocide in Gaza, the equivalent of one child every 52 minutes.

"De VN-hulporganisatie Unicef roept de paramilitairen van de RSF met klem op hulpgoederen toe te laten tot de zwaar belegerde stad El-Fasher in de Sudanese regio Darfur. Volgens de kinderrechtenorganisatie lijden zo'n 6000 kinderen aan acute ondervoeding en lopen zij het risico te overlijden als zij geen speciale behandeling krijgen. In totaal zitten zo'n 130.000 kinderen vast in de stad.
De inwoners van de stad leven al 500 dagen in een belegerde stad. Ruim 600.000 mensen zijn ontheemd, de resterende 260.000 burgers leven in "uitzichtloze omstandigheden", zegt Unicef. "Ondervoeding, ziekte en geweld eisen dagelijks levens van kinderen." …"
