Biryani is one of my all time fave foods. I tend to prefer the southern styles which isn’t easily available outside of south India.
Which is why Kolapasi’s Vijayawada style biryani really hits the spot for me.

Every Sunday, there is vegan food at Chùa Giác Minh in East Palo Alto.
If you go early (9.30ish) you can buy the food from them. If you go later (12:30th) you can get free food from whatever’s left.

Yesterday, I went to a random intersection in San Lorenzo in east bay and I had the most delicious Colombian BBQ. There’s a collection of street food stalls on Hesperian Blvd and Paseo Grande, near the Public Storage, on weekends (go around noon). We found a cute little Colombian grill spot called Barril y Carbon. It was delicious. Some pupusa, churros, quesabirria and hibachi stalls too. None of these are on Google maps.
I am so thankful to immigrants for the delicious food I get to eat.
