I made this reversible blackwork bookmark for myself! The snake scale pattern looks like a tile design (to me).

The snake is by me, the flowers are based on a border by Ilse Altherr in her second book, and the scales gradient pattern is by me (although it's so simple I'm sure others have done it before me!).
