Un problème avec #WeTransfer ou les #documentsPartagés style #googleDocs, #overleaf, etc, c'est qu'on se retrouve destinataire sans l'avoir choisi, et, selon les circonstances, il peut être un peu tard / humainement compliqué de demander au correspondant de changer d'outil.

J'envisage de mettre dans ma signature mail une ligne "Je refuse les documents partagés via des outils propriétaires, voici les alternatives" avec un lien. Idéalement, un lien sur une page toujours à jour ?

Si vous ne l'avez pas vu passer, #WeTransfer a tenté de modifier ses conditions d'utilisation pour permettre à l'entreprise de monétiser les fichiers envoyés via le service, notamment pour les fournir aux entreprises d'#IA !

Sachez que des alternatives éthiques à WeTransfer existent !

Certes, #WeTransfer semble faire aujourd'hui machine arrière, mais l'entreprise reste à but lucratif et a clairement affiché aujourd'hui son ambition de maximiser son profit, au déficit des intérêts de ses utilisateurices.

One of the biggest problems also here is technology people that think they can interpret and understand legal language like T&Cs (Terms and Conditions), laws and licenses as if they were deterministic software source code. They are almost always wrong. Please ask a lawyer before jumping to conclusions. I promise, you will be surprised. I am talking from (painful) experience.
