With @GIMP 3.2 on the final stretch, today I spent quite some time preparing #GIMP 3.4 and 3.6 initial roadmaps 🗓️ with input of what other contributors want to work on (with the usual assumption that roadmaps are "fluid" and can change anytime; it's a tool for us to self-organize, not a promise to others).
Organizing future works is always a nice feeling as we can see where we are going! 🎯

Sentinel-2a rgb satellite image of area around Lochinver in NW Scotland. New tool was using new #gdal application for initial process then #GIMP for colour correction, saturation and sharpness. New discovery that GIMP can save GeoTIFF images. Images show before and after. I think I need to work harder at colour correction - it's too green and still rather dark.

The straight, bluish plasma tail is visible over a length of ~6° (12 full moon diameters). The curved dust tail is a lot shorter.
